Mama, Tell Me About The Good Ole Days

First things first, I'm a slacker...... We have celebrated birthdays, holidays, first days of high school, daddy going back to work, pageants, and tailgating ...... Why am I just now blogging to you girls??? Grrrr, this means I have so much to write about..
After two long years of being off work, daddy has unfortunately gone back to work, he has to have one more surgery and hopefully that will be the last one. I'm happy and sad at the same time.... I miss him being at home with you girls more than anything. He was such a wonderful stay home daddy! I couldn't be more proud of his strength and determination he endured throughout this journey we traveled together.  I swear daddy has super powers.... I hope you girls learn from this experience.... You can do anything you set your mind to... On another note, it's nice to have everyone back on a routine....
There is nothing I want more than a strong foundation and a happy childhood for you girls.... I hope that one day you look back and remember all the happy times we have together..... We are quite entertaining, to say the least!!

After two weeks of crying every night bc Madisyn started high school .....I made it....(I mean ugly face crying) it just sucks as a mom to see you girls grow up so fast....
You will one day understand the heart ache when you have us lots and lots of grand babies!!!!!!
If only you acted as precious as you look, Madisyn (sigh) I absolutely despise your bipolarness (I may have made that word up but, if the shoe fits......) I still love you more than anything :)

How can it be, Braylee are you really five?  You are becoming so much like your sister....I must admit, you scared the living day lights out of me while we were tackling your two's and three's...I was certain I was getting a dose of my own medicine..... You are the most beautiful,  loving, affectionate, high strung,  well mannered five year old around and we love everything about you!  You never pass up an opportunity to compliment anyone around you! You have the bluest crystal clear eyes with a touch of angel kisses scattered across your nose and cheeks....it's seriously cute! We had you a Frozen birthday party ......literally Frozen....but no one Caught pneumonia so we're good!

And so I had your 5 year old pics in my wedding dress.....only You are way cuter in it!

This is your little personality in a nutshell....And I love it!

You still love us all the way to the fairies and the rainbows......... You live to make us all laugh way too hard....
Here are some pics of the oldest diva in my dress , you look stunning as always
I hate I waited so long to do this, it almost fits you......you are determined to wear this dress when you become a bride......we shall see....
You're heart is a big as the sky......which is why your hair is so short....you up and decided you wanted to donate it, you could not make us anymore proud! We have started going to the nursing home with your G A class and you girls absolutely love it ..... Here are some pictures of our sweet Mrs Jean, that you love to pieces
These girls go every Wednesday night to the nursing home and read the Bible to the residents ....each time I go, I cry tears of
Joy as you pray with each resident then sing to them....what a blessing this is to many!!!
Braylee, you were FINALLY able to be in a pageant......why did I ever think you wouldn't like it , you loved it (dang it)  but, you did great and you're ready for another one

Is it just me or does it look like my reflection here? Your daddy hates the fact that you look like your mama now.....so we still tell him you favor him.....to make him happy
This may possibly be my favorite picture of the night.....this group of girls were praying before they went on stage....how awesome is this?
Kudos to the parents who are raising these babies!!!
 I know I say this a lot but, ........
           POOR DADDY

On a short and sweet note......here is how we have been spending some fun time together
With that being said......HAILSTATE and Happy Halloween !!!!!! I love you girls and our little family and I look forward to many days full of laughter and happly ever afters!

 P. S ... Please don't judge me by all my grammatical errors, run-ons and so forth .....I'm truly sorry for my rambling.....if you know me, you know I will forget if its not said right then #sorrynotsorry

And All The People Said..............AMEN

The last couple of months have been pure chaos busy, busy for you girls and daddy. We have celebrated birthdays, Easter, Mother's Day, graduations, vacations, summer loving, and Bible School! What a blessing it is to be celebrating all of the above in a couple of  months time. Meaning, I have so much to update on your blog. First off, I need to tell you girls, as if you don't already know, YOU HAVE THE BEST DADDY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! He takes such good care of things while I work, such as taking you girls to Bible school, cheer, swimming, cleaning the house, cooking supper, educating Braylee and dealing with Madisyn's crazy teen hormones etc. etc.. I can't express enough how thankful I am daddy was given this opportunity to spend with you girls. Do you see how GOD works in mysterious way? If daddy would've never had an accident at work this time would've been lost. I pray you girls always cherish this time with him as he does with you. Enough of boosting daddy's ego and on to your story.

Madisyn, we celebrated your 11th birthday. You no longer want to hold my hand in public, or spend many days without the presence of your friends. Your friends I'm thankful for....but, you're still suppose to hold hands with your mama. I swear, I really love holding hands... so this is really heart breaking for me. We had you a Kentucky Derby themed birthday party. It was such a cute party, we all love dressing up!

Mrs. Joyce always does such a wonderful job with your birthday cakes.
You really do have the most precious friends. As parents, we often  brag on how well mannered and spiritual you girls are. You and your friends are never too embarrassed or prideful to pray aloud at any given time throughout the day. I can't tell you enough how rewarding that is for us parents.

Most importantly, we were able to celebrate Easter. I know ,without a doubt , you know the importance of Easter. What a wonderful life our Savior has given us. Although your dad and I fail him and you daily, I couldn't imagine raising you girls without teaching you about the Lord, raising you in his house, and being ungodly parents for you. You girls deserve the best and it might not always seem like it, but we try to give you everything in life you need (not want). Most of all, you teach us just as much about God as we do you! Here is our Happy Easter!

Then there was Mother's Day....I know this should be a really special day for all moms, but I think you girls should know that I feel this special every day, because God chose me to be your mom! On another note, your dad and I are fortunate to have such wonderful moms and you grandmothers. I can't imagine life without these two women. They have reared, and helped mold your dad and I to be the parents we are today!

This verse describes me best before I became a mom to you girls. I'm sure you know I'm not perfect, but I was a lost soul before you came along. Once again, I'm thankful Jesus forgives us daily...I would be up a creek if he did not forgive us and love us unconditionally
You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you're named and kept for good by the Shepherd of your souls
1 Peter 2:25

Thank you girls for also forgiving me as I fail you daily on being your mom!

Well Madisyn, you graduated the 5th grade. Can you read the sadness in my voice as I write this? You graduated with A B honor roll for the year!!!! Your dad and I, along with the rest of the family, are extremely proud of you. You are a remarkable, sweet, loving, caring little girl! I will never forget as we were on our way to school the last day of your 5th grade you said " Mama, this year has gone by so fast, I wish my life would just slow down some" of course I started shedding tears as you spoke these words.. It seems as if it were yesterday you were fighting us saying your name wasn't Madisyn Booise or how you were rocking your little voice to Small Town Southern Man. Gigi did such a good job with your program!

Here is your last day of 5th grade. You are just as pretty on the inside as you are the outside.

Next, we went on vacation to Gulf Shores with nana and papa, and it rained the entire time. The best part about our trip was spending time with our family and friends and daddy got a real live mullet! You know how much I love mullets, they are seriously so much fun! Braylee and Macie had so much fun together, and I'm so glad they got this opportunity to spend with each other. Madisyn, as we were going through the little town of Macon you asked your dad and I if Jamaican people live there and then you said you bet they use the phrase "you macon me crazy" Get it mama??? You are soo my child!
Here is pictures of everybody's new do
Seriously, I think my husband is so precious in his mullet, you are smoking hot baby Girls don't kill me.

Finally....you girls finished VBS last night and are enjoying summer every day! you loved VBS as always, and what a blessing it is to be part of such a wonderful church! We absolutely adore our church and everything about it! Madisyn and Braylee, you both think the world is coming crashing down on you if we miss a Sunday or Wednesday..<------- For this I'm thankful! See, this is exactly what I'm talking about when I tell you, you girls are also raising us. Braylee, you came home from VBS and told us you need money for Jesus.. I asked you what exactly is it for and you said "so the kids can have clean water". The next day I asked you if you remembered to give your money to your teacher and you informed me your teacher was taking your money to Jesus and he was going to give the children all the clean water. There is nothing like child like faith!!

Braylee, your little heart just keeps growing each day with love. I have to say your two's and three's stage scared the dog mess out of me. As you get older you are the sweetest , most caring, loving child THANK YOU JESUS! You love your family so much and tell us about 100 times a day! You often grab our faces for 1000 kisses and still tell us "I love you all the way to the fairies and rainbows"!
